Moe’s Guitars is a premier destination for high-end boutique, vintage, and American-made instruments. We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our showroom into 728 Lafayette Ave, featuring brand-new, dedicated private lesson studios. We are building a team of professional, passionate instructors to launch our new music education program.

The Role
We are seeking versatile, patient, and reliable Guitar Instructors to teach a growing roster of local students. Your primary focus will be split between two crucial demographics: Young Beginners (Children): Keeping lessons fun, engaging, and structured to build a lifelong love for music.

Intermediate Players: Helping students break through plateaus, master music theory, improve technique, and refine their performance skills.

What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven experience teaching children and young adults (references or a brief video demonstration of your playing/teaching style are a plus).

Skills: Strong foundation in multiple genres (Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical), fretboard theory, and sight-reading or modern notation.

Personality: Punctual, encouraging, highly communicative, and adaptive to different learning speeds.

Vibe: A professional attitude that matches the gear-centric, high-quality atmosphere of our shop.

Compensation & Perks
We offer one of the most competitive payout structures in Northern New Jersey:

Premium 60/40 Split: Earn 60% of the customer tuition rate.

Teacher Earnings: You take home $27 per 30-minute lesson and $48 per 60-minute lesson.

Zero Admin Work: We handle all student recruitment, enrollment contracts, monthly billing, and scheduling software so you can focus entirely on teaching.
